daily reckonings the eleventh and twelfth
behind again--it's just THAT kind of week. anyway--here's the news from the last couple of days, finally.
food log:
food log:
- breakfast:
- wednesday: a blueberry muffin from whole foods and a cup of EB tea with milk and sugar, like always. (in case you haven't picked up on this by now, i am a bit of a tea addict.)
- thursday: unfortunate breakfast of brown sugar and cinnamon pop tarts and my standard hot tea--i came into work really early, forgot to bring anything with me, and there was NOTHING else at work to eat. i gave in when i started getting a headache. i admit that i LOVE pop tarts, but i probably eat them only about three or four times a year.
- lunch:
- wednesday: a salad from chick-fil-a with fat free honey mustard dressing and an unsweetened iced tea. it took ALL of my will not to eat a fried chicken sandwich and fries, but i resisted. yay!
- thursday: a grilled chicken sandwich on a whole wheat bun with avacados, lettuce and tomato, and a little mayo, some squash casserole, and unsweetened iced tea. oh, and three french fries, one with gravy on it (stole them from a friend).
- dinner:
- wednesday: went to dinner with eric and kylie to the bamboo club. had a lychee martini, half of a really bad summer roll, some pad thai, and some stir fried shrimp with mushrooms and asparagus. i skipped the rice since thre were noodles in the pad thai.
- thursday: the hippie and i went to evoo, where i had a half of a fried calimari appetizer, and some grilled sea bass and sauteed spinach in a tomato saffron broth. there were some lobster ravioli with my entree, too, but i was just not in the mood for them.
- snacks/other:
- wednesday: no snacks. had an extra cup of hot tea with 1 tsp. of sugar and some milk in the afternoon.
- thursday: no snacks today either.
- desserts/sweets:
- wednesday: no desserts.
- thursday: the hippie and i were planning to go to dessert, but then we decided to just hang out at home instead. so--no sweets on thursday.
