daily reckoning the third
food log:
man, i dread going back into the gym. i am so intimidated by it--it's such an emotional thing for me. i have a few new workout clothes, which actually helps, but i am such a chicken shit about this. ugh! once i get going, i will be OK, but man it is hard getting started! so my gym goal for this week is to make it on thursday and friday. if i can pull that off, i think i will be doing well.
- breakfast: 1 lemon poppyseed muffin from whole foods (we totally slept in, so we were late--stopped and grabbed something fast and relatively OK for us) and one cup of english breakfast tea with 1 tsp. white sugar and ~1.5 oz. 1% milk
- lunch: went to a chinese buffet with coworkers--tried to focus on the veggies and not eat as much of the fried things. i also forced myself to stop eating when i was full instead of gorging. in the end, i had one plate of mixed meat and veggies (no rice or noodles), a slice of watermelon, 1 glass of sweet iced tea, and that was it.
- dinner: 1 bowl of mediterranean chicken stew, 2 slices of whole wheat baguette, and about 1/2 a glass of white wine
- snacks/other: nothing today
- desserts/sweets: 1 scoop of baskin robbins reeses peanut butter cup ice cream in a cone

Just remember it's the little things everyday that add up over time. Once you take that step over the gym line you won't even think about it anymore, you'll just go, and think to yourself, fuck ya'll I'm fabulous!
